Saying Thank You: How To Give Your Dad The Best Day Of His Life
Fathers are often overlooked. Moms get a lot of credit because they pretty much make us feel alright in just about anything. If you really think about it, whenever you got hurt or felt sad or landed in a mess, would you first turn to your mother or father? The answer is mother. We call out to her a lot and while there is nothing wrong in that beautiful and unrivalled bond between a mom and her kids, fathers too work hard all their lives to provide the best for his children. If you want to make him feel special, here is how you can go about it.
Make it fun
First thing first. You need to prioritize on the fun quotient. Dads love having fun and more so, if it’s the kid who is encouraging all that. Start they day with a giant hug and let him know that you love him for all that he has done for you. Tell him to take it easy today because you are in charge and you plan on giving him a day to remember forever. Your father will be thrilled.
Get him something nice
Get him something nice and useful with a bit of thought to it. For example you can get him a high quality power bank and tell him that you got him one because you want to be able to talk to him whenever you want without hearing a recording that says that his phone is dead, he will be glad to own a new piece of technology but will be even more happy that you felt about the present that way.
Give him something funny too
How about a custom made gifts that has a print of dad’s most silly moment caught on it? It can become the ultimate family joke. You and your dad can have a laugh about it. Also make sure that you cook for him and give him lots of yummy food because they love to eat. Besides, this means that your mom can have the day off as well.
Invite his friends over
This is a great way to make sure that your dad feels special. Dads love to hang out and have a beer or two with their buddies and arrange for that to happen. Let his friends know in advance so that they can keep the day free and invite them over for lunch or for a drink. Let them laugh and shout and have a good time.
Organize his favourite outing and be part of it
If your dad loves to raft, fish, hike or something along those lines, arrange for the perfect outing for him with his friends and go along. Alternatively you and the rest of your family can go with him on the outing and let him know that all of you enjoy his company and actually enjoy his pastimes as well.
